A code on its own is not enough

One flash on a Goodman GMV8 furnace is an ignition lockout. One flash on a Goodman AVPTC is an invalid heater kit. Four flashes on a GMV8 is an open high limit switch, while four flashes on a GMSS9 is a limit circuit open on a completely different control. Same number, different fault, different part.

That is why our URLs carry the model family, and why we would rather have you find your model number than read a confident wrong answer.
