Check the model number on the data plate before trusting any code on this page. Codes ending in C are conditions the control has recorded, and on many models they clear once the cause is dealt with. Codes ending in E are live signals the control is still receiving, which is why an E code keeps returning until the part or circuit is fixed.
Two-digit codes here differ from the washer set, so a Samsung fridge code is never a Samsung washer code.
How to read this code
A Samsung refrigerator with a digital display shows a short code. A letter with a number such as 21E usually names a fan or a heater circuit, a code in the C range such as 84C is usually a condition stored by the control rather than a live fault, and 88 88 is a reset message rather than a failure.
